Hughie has been training since the age of 5 with his father Peter Fury who was also a professional boxer back in the early days. As boxing was a big influence in Hughie's life he quickly learnt boxing techniques to now become an undisputed fighter in the heavyweight division. He had his first amateur fight at the legal age of just 11 and went on to fight in a total of 45 fights before turning Pro.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Hughie had his first amateur fight at the legal age of just 11 and went on to fight in a total of 45 fights before turning Pro. During his amateur years he won junior ABA's title, CYPs Championships, became School boy Champion, with Northwest titles under his belt and a Silver Tri Nations trophy. In 2012 he was crowned AIBA Youth World Champion achieving a gold medal.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

Hughie turned professional at the age of 18 with his first 5 Pro fights in 5 different countries, the first at the Bell centre in Canada, New York's Madison Square Garden and then Ireland, Romania and finally in his homeland, the United Kingdom. The first year of his professional career was a busy year for Hughie with his team signing him up to 12 fights in his first year alone. He rised to the challenge winning all professional fights, a total of 19 wins including 10 KOs and 0 losses, its no wonder opponents are avoiding a ringside square up with Hughie.
